Winter Duldrum

Who said winter is beautiful? Oh yes, the young ones who love
winter sports and can never have enough of it.

There comes a time when winter can be trying, dull and depressing .
Right now, I will liquidate everything I own in a heartbeat- of course
at the right price. Keep thinking this way till one day- it will be
my reality.

It's a big , wide world. No one needs to feel stuck in one place. New
connections and friendships can be had. In this stressful and busy world,
friends are family... make no mistake. Distance does distance families;
in good times and bad. Friends learn to reach out to one another and
develop strong bonds and appreciate the importance of sharing time
with one another. Must be the new norm.

Dust the Cobwebs Off

Another new year. Old resolutions collecting cobwebs in the brain.

Take one step at a time. What is the most important issue that has
been nagging at you for a long time? Perhaps this is the one thing to
work on this year.

It is not a matter of making resolutions at the start of every New Year. It is
about evaluating what worked and what did not. And try to move forward.

I know I need to work on procrastination. I tried and tried. But , a more
concerted effort is what I need. Each day, I will do one thing and one thing only-
be it filing, or doing the dishes, or any mundane chore that has been waiting
to be done. I'll take it from this point.

Happy New Year to all.
